I’m all for the free papers that they give out, gives a somewhat enlightening and amusing read on the tube where my iPhone doesn’t have any signal. I’m not even particularly bothered about them being left on the seats, although I’m sure the cleaners would have something to say about that. I do see the occasional person who gets pissed off from a pile of them, of which the most extreme outburst has been grabbing the pile, pushing their way through a few people and then throwing them in a shower of floating paper out of the door. Really quite beautiful…

Does somewhat get annoying when people insist on reading them while standing up. My iPhone only requires one hand, but the paper has to be done with two- requiring the reader to either do a stance similar to riding a horse or to lean against one of the poles supporting the train structure. Problem is, in a packed train people need to use these so that they don’t end up tripping face first into the cleavage of nearby Scottish Ladies. [I only make this comment in jest, thankfully didn't happen to me. ] I did however have to suffer a rather large sweaty man in a suit leaning against my arm for most of the journey before I finally gave up my spot and moved down the carriage. Bleh.
