Just got linked via Design You Trust to the site of the Matthew Laskowski, who has some amazing illustrations among other designs and photography. Currently using Now Arriving as my desktop because it is just that awesome. Lots of his inspiration seems to come from Japanese culture…and Mirror’s Edge! 
I’d highly recommend checking out his Gallery, the Comic that he’s making, and his Blog for updates to his site. He also writes a lot of Photoshop quick tips and tricks, as well as writing tutorials in the studio. Definitely worth giving his site a look over, if only for the artwork.
