London devMeet, 9th August

It’s raining as I write this post, wanted to go for a wander but I guess that’s not going to happen. Oh well, blog post time. Went to my first devMeet in a while the other night, would have liked to have gone for the entire day but work kept me from that. Damn it’s lack of days off, with the recent financial situation I’d have thought they’d cut down a bit, but it was pretty busy during the day. Figures.

Anyway, went up to central London afterwards and headed to the usual post-devMeet haunt The Met Bar, where the staff are usually nice enough to get away with drunken antics to an extent…

Nice to see some real life faces again, caught up with `rushy, =sali-chan, *raygirl, @leaf-lover, *stannerz and *dusty-hacker, all who I haven’t seen in a while. Met ~k-ossuburb and =dunpinta for the first time who were most amusing, as well as =kyrrith, really nice guy called Dorian who I had quite a lengthy chat with about a number of things, from art stereotypes to emos. :B Oh, and Rushy Jr made an entrance- far cooler than that fella plushie.
